This Data Service Portal is operational w.e.f. 01^st March 2019, for online management of all activities related to historical observationsl data procuremnet from IMD. The objective of this package is to enhance the efficiency & transparency, to reduce the service delivery time, to maintain the electronic log of every action and to provide real-time information to all concerned, related to the 'Data Services' of IMD at National Data Center, IMD, Pune.

The Version 2.0, launched on 05^th August 2019, has additional features as :
   a) Availability of Data at NDC can be explored before filling up the request form.
   b) Estimate of Data Charges can be checked (for those who are not under MoES organisation).

The Version 3.0, is operational from 27^th July 2020, with following facilitites :
   a) RMCs and MCs of IMD can login and get data from NDC Pune for supply to the parties.
   b) Automated Email acknowledgements for every step in the process.
   c) Dashboard of NDC Data Supply Service.

The Version 4.0, is operational from 16^th August 2021, in accordance with the revised data charges and procedures. Henceforth, the account-login enrolment process is introduced for the procurement of data.

The Version 4.1, is operational from 10^th August 2022, with the facility of supply of Astronomical data, which will be supplied online by PAC Kolkata.

The Version 5.0, is operational from 01^st October 2024, after integration with CLIMS.
